City of Phoenix
The City of Phoenix is the state capital and largest city in the State of Arizona. Governed by a City Council since 1948, this latter body is responsible for enacting city ordinances, appropriating funds in order to conduct city business and providing policy direction, and for appointing a city manager to carry out specified policies and operations and oversee the city’s 33 departments.
The City of Phoenix commissions Seidman on a biannual basis to provide economic reports examining population, employment, GDP, income, exports, and the real estate market for two geographies – the city of Phoenix and metro Phoenix (Phoenix MSA).
They have also commissioned Seidman to quantify the economic footprint of bioscience and healthcare in the City of Phoenix.
