EPCOR is a utility company in Canada and the United States, providing electricity and water services to residential and commercial districts.

Formed over 120 years ago as Edmonton’s power and water utility, the company’s American affiliate – EPCOR Water (USA) Inc. – is headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona and currently serves 10 water districts in the state. These are: Agua Fria; Anthem; Chaparral; Havasu; Mohave; North Mohave; Paradise Valley; Sun City; Sun City West; and Tubac. All 10 districts were acquired in 2012 from American Water Works Company (AAW), thereby enabling EPCOR Water (USA) Inc. to be become the largest private regulated water provider in Arizona.

In 2006, AAW commissioned the Seidman Research Institute to compile demographic and economic statistics for their service territories using Census tract level data from the 2000 Census.

In spring 2016, EPCOR commissioned Seidman to provide demographic and economic profiles for five of its water service and five of its wastewater service districts in Arizona.
